In February, MAX received a permit from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) to begin on-site solidification of waste from oil and gas drilling operations at its Bulger, Washington County facility. Under the terms of the permit, the facility will solidify wet drill cuttings, drilling mud and drilling fluids by mixing in specially designed and contained vessels on the landfill area.
