Technical Sales Representative
Seeking
a dynamic individual to help execute the company's Strategic Marketing
and Sales Plan. In this role the Technical Sales Rep will be
responsible to market and sell MAX's key service lines. Focusing on
opportunities in the oil and gas industry as well as other service
markets, this individual will work with MAX's sales management team to
develop leads, conduct negotiations and close deals. Knowledge of
the Oil and Gas marketplace is necessary. Knowledge of environmental
regulations including RCRA is also necessary. Willingness to make
things happen a must. Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
required. A degree in engineering or earth science a plus.

Environmental Construction and Remediation Representative
This position involves the coordination and
management of environmental construction and remediation projects with ranging
from flow-up sales calls through the bidding process up to and including
project completion.
Responsibilities: Candidate will assist in the bidding process including any subsequent sales calls to finalize the contract. Upon award, the candidate will establish a project budget, and will be responsible for coordinating company resources with subcontractors, as required. The project manager will schedule shipments of waste to the appropriate MAX facility or the facility as designated by our contract. The candidate will be required to have experience in change order preparation as well as billing and final project completion activities. The position requires 10% to 30% travel, primarily in the mid-Atlantic region. Excellent organization skills are required as is knowledge of OSHA, CERCLA, RCRA and other EPA and state environmental regulations.
Qualification Requirements: The successful candidate will have 5 to 7 years of relevant hands-on environmental construction and remediation experience and possess, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, chemistry or environmental science. Advanced degrees, professional registration or experience with Health and Safety or Industrial Hygiene will be considered a plus. The candidate will prepare or assist in the preparation and evaluation of Health and Safety plans and Job Safety Analyses.
Additional Skills and Abilities: Candidates must have strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Must be experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word and MS Project. Strong analytical and reasoning skills are essential.
